114TH ILLINOIS INFANTRY REACTIVATED

Staff members at Mississippi Final Stands Interpretive Center and Brice’s Crossroads National Battlefield site join reenactors with the 114th Illinois Infantry Reactivated at a monument dedicated at Brice’s Crossroads battlefield in June.  (l-r) Mallie Fitzgerald and Edwina Carpenter hosted the group as they erected the Union regimental monument at the battlefield. They are joined by John Haynes, executive director of the Brice’s Crossroads National Battlefield Commission and members of the reactivated regiment.
